I have never been asked for my Med Card when renewing my CDL ?
Just current License and Insurance . . . . .

Indiana will suspend your CDL after 6mo with no current medical certification, they will send notice in mail giving you 3mo to get, then send 2nd notice giving you 30days then dont get stopped cuz you dont have a license!

 

RickG that must not have went national yet..I just did mine in July and I was told I didnt need to have my medical current just to renew my cdl's...I am from OH....


SS metal.I am not in Iraq now...Had that job for a year and decided to come home..I had to clear house so my brothers and sisters would stop putting so much stress on my mom..Its great money,double the average stateside driving wage..I was makin up to 10k a month with overtime on good months.I was workin for KBR..If you want to do offbase recovery,they will teach you how to use heavy wreckers..Its VERY physical when you are off base..Pullin heavy winch cables,20ft 1/2 inch chains,or the dreaded 1 inch anaconda chains on the hets lol..And you have to do that with a ballistic helmet,a nomex suit,and a 20 pound ballistic vest on,unless you are small,then you get a lighter vest lol...Or you can try to be a convoy driver in afghanistan,that would be more long term..Just go to kbrjobs and they will jave them listed on line..There isnt a recruiters number,you will have to fill out an online application,and sit and wait for a response...

Without recent exp. a CDL is almost worthless.

I haven't had to show a DOT medcard for renewal.
