This no-rehire thing sounds new to me in regards to LTL. Over here in the milk hauling world, I know of guys that cycle through the same, five or six companies in this area in the span of two years.
What LTL companies have a no rehire policy and is this policy common in LTL's?

i think we (UPSF) officially have a no-rehire policy, but i know firsthand that if you do a good job, they'll put it in your file so that you likely can get re-hired.
So, the bottom line is that it's officially unofficial that you basically CAN get re-hired at UPSF.BeHereNow97 and bentstrider83 Thank this. -
I think you should concentrate more on if you're an employee that is worth rehiring.

As with any other company/industry, if you're a crappy employee that's basically filling a space and you leave... the company will be happy to tell you that you can't come back and give you some excuse like we don't do rehires.
I have a friend that left OD with proper notice and a year later he's back.Gearjammin' Penguin and Texas_hwy_287 Thank this. -
I came back to Estes after 18 months at Saia with no problem. I was told when I left I was always welcome back if Saia didn’t work out.

When I left ups freight, they told me I was put down for re-hire status since I left on good terms.

FedEx freight would bring you back and give your seniority back after a year.
No one is going to pass on a good driver who was trying to better himself and it didn't work out.Northeast Hillbilly Thanks this.
