I don't like giving specifics, but I'll post it after I drop.

Dropped at Americold today. Was slated to take a load to Temple, TX, which got switched to IL. That in turn became a swap, because I didn't have the recaps. Instead I'm heading up near Sacramento for delivery on Wednesday. Depending on the del time, I'll try to squeeze in a 34.

Salary is nice... especially when the country is iced up and slow moving. No stress on my end.

Anyone with a newer Cascadia think the mirrors are too small? I can hardly make out what's in the distance mirror. I'm not the best backer-upper, but these mirrors are making me look like an invalid.

I was one of those guys frozen in Tennessee yesterday. I’m currently parked at the North 40 Truck Stop waiting to see if my receiver is going to be open today. They were not yesterday.

I feel bad about the people stuck in this crap. Mother nature has the tendency to make us stronger by making us suffer. Kind of a sadist, isn't she? On the trip down I took 56-54-40. I ended up just missing the Albuquerque blizzard by pushing it to Gallup the night before. Other than that, a little flurry here, testy road there.

I told the wife that if we don't get a thaw by the end of the week, get someone to shovel the roof. Not having that again. Winter of 14 was a killer for snow and ice on the roof. The plaster ceiling in our son's room gave way. Good news is it all should be coming to an end by Friday.

@Bumper I see you're from tri-cities. I wanted to move to Johnson City when we got married 20 yrs ago. Things just worked out differently. I lived in Hixson for 3 years in the 90s. Miss it a lot.

We moved here from Reno Nevada in September. Liking it very much. Our oldest Son got a job transfer to Roanoke VA so we decided to move closer to our Grandkids. This was as close as I would go. I have too many guns to move to Virginia.....

Was that up on Orangethorpe Ave? I’m pretty sure that’s where I used to deliver my Dannon Yogurt loads back in the day.
