Didnt think we had a long memory? I still see you have a poor attitude...

Every think that maybe your problem is your attitude...

Still crying because everyone told you to "grow up"? Then you collected your "toys" and left the "playground" in a huff?

I seem to remember you bragging about how nobody, not even your trainer was going to tell you what you were and werent going to do.

Nobody kissing anyone's butt on this end... Im doing great, getting miles, making money.

I stop in and see my FM for about 10 minutes whenever Im in the Terminal to touch base... He's a family man with a couple kids, new baby and all... I doubt he would go to bar with me if I asked. Spends so much time at work babying other drivers, I almost feel bad for the guy. (typically 6 days a week and sometimes 7)

When I say babying, I mean we have a drivers who cant make minnimum MPG, Late for appointments, stupid mistakes, faliure to communicate problems, not following procedures, preventable accidents, citations and shutdowns.

If Im getting special treatment (not that I am aware of) then its because I dont have any of those problems mentioned above... Basically, I am doing my job.

Ironpony can back me up, we have the same FM

    Oh, wait a minute....

I forgot, Skunk couldnt make company minnimum on his MPG. Went to FFE cause their trucks run 62 and he dont have to worry about "that MPG ####"... Your Prime truck wouldnt have been cut to 58 if you had done that part of your job properly.

Well, my company truck runs 63 and hasnt been turned down.... why? cause I do my job... they want 6.75... I try and give them 7.5... Best part is they pay me to go above an beyond that 6.75... over $2500 dollars worth so far this year.

Just like kids that won't mind in school and get sent to the Principal's office, or get detention.

In the real world (after schooling), these guys that never learned from it get fired for having the same school-kid attitude with their boss... and then they brag about how they "aint gonna take no #### from nobody!" No... I guess they don't have to take any ####, but they won't keep their job if they don't learn to take at least a little.

Guys like this need to learn to put their egos in check and just do their jobs-- doesn't matter what kind of job either... any job is like that to some extent.

i worked for prime for two years untill this past may. let me tell you, drivers can do better than prime. they really dont care about you. they dont. all they want is their money for their lease junk. i know. when i signed my lease i was making 1200-2500 a week. a week. then slowly the freight started to take a down fall. after christmas 08 i went 4 weeks w/out a check. then the checks were 200-maybe 650 and sometimes nothing because prime couldnt get you the freight to cover expences. they will tell you to take a load that pays 65-70 cents a mile to get into a better freight area and when you get there they have nothing. you sit for days waiting on freight. especially the weekends.. oh yeah after you turn in your lease truck you might want to check your dac out, prime put an unauthorized location(abandonment) on mine when i turned the truck into the terminal. i was just informed of this as i talked to a recrutier two days ago. please please heed these warnings as prime is a shady company who has plenty of warm bodies just waiting to take your spot. dont give them the opportunity to steal from you. thanks

I haven't heard of anybody at Prime lately complaining of having to wait for loads... I guess freight has picked up quite a bit.

When you turned your truck in, did you keep your paperwork? Don't they sign something for you when you turn it in? ... you know, stating that you turned it in at so and so location, the condition, etc.?

Well, that's good that you have your paperwork... I would think that would help.

    Good luck. Keep us updated.
