Hey man, within the GTA I don't know of any reputable driving schools other than Humber college. High price but they provide great training. I live near Humber and these guys train their drivers not only during the day but also 3-4AM. No other driving school I know of does that I know of does that.
But the real thing is it doesn't really matter how good the training is, most driving schools if not all will only teach you enough to pass the road test. I learned almost everything from carrier training (Challenger).
Best of luck.BigHossVolvo, Ricky'sRig and Phantom Trucker Thank this. -
In BC we have a Mountain Driving Institute, and that's about the only I know of that you'd want to partake in Canada wide. Extra flight and lodging, but it'd be worth it if you're serious.

Richards truck driving school I know of a few guys at kriska who went there and they don’t hire new drivers from just any school . Usually only Humber
I would also call up some of the companies u plan to work for after getting your license and see which schools they will hire from . I found this out the hard way especially with the mega carriers. I couldn’t get hired from any of mega carriers with the school I went with . I ended up having to do half a course at crossroads in Barrie just to get hired by Schneider

My training was 7 weeks ( I added the heavy equip. ) otherwise it would have been 5 wks.

I went to Training | Transport Training Centres of Canada they have campuses all over Ontario. They help you find work. Not cheap but worth it
