1. Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

Well that's it. I'm done.

Unless you are using your CDL for hauling your toys around. As an example, someone hauling a fifth wheel RV, with a toy hauler trailer on behind it still needs the CDL, endorsed for doubles/triples. Even though it is private, not for hire, you are still hauling a "set."

Yeah, I renewed mine here in Utah in August, and it was not mentioned.

However, I do know that if you have an Arizona CDL, they require a current medical card on file, or they will suspend the CDL. Apparently, from what I've seen in this thread, other states are that way as well.

We just be tryin' to help ya out, bud...:yes2557:

    if you weren't
charged for the accident, your trouble in getting hired is probbaly your "school" getting busted.

I've had my CDL since horse drawn wagon. Just began using it for a driving job this past year. They have never asked for my medical in all the years I have renewed it. Must be new in many states. I live in VA.
