They’re looking for no sugar and little or no protein in your urine. Usually if either show it’s a sign of underlying issues, especially sugar because your body doesn’t start passing it in urine until it’s at high levels. Not sure about home test kits, guess you could call a walk in clinic and see if they could just administer a urinalysis for you?
DOT urine test.

if your spilling sugar in your urine they will do a finger stick.
It’s serious business, if you crash they will know you cheated. This post was your first mistake. -
They are looking to see if you have an excessive amounts of sugar in your urine. If you are at a specific level they will move on to a finger stick test, where they test your blood sugar in that current moment. I have been told that the level can't be above 170 some say 200, guess it depends on the doctor. Anything above that and they will require an A1C test from your doc and I think that has to be below a 10.
Go to Walmart pharmacy section. Get a diabetes monitor and strips. They are $5 a piece. Test your sugar 2 hours after you eat and see where you are.
The day before your physical eat low carbs...Veggies, salads, meats, no sugary drinks or sugar in your coffee...diet pop is fine. If you eat the day of your physical eat the same stuff I listed before. I try to get my physical done first thing in the morning. If you get it done early enough then you can wait to eat once physical is over. Check your sugars. If they are high drink as much water as possible or walk. That will help lower them.Last edited: Feb 20, 2021

Cherish your one year. All I've been only issued the past 3 physicals .
Went for a new physical last week and walked out with a 90 day and direct orders to do something about my blood pressure .
I'm trying to stay off the meds for now . So no more coffee even though I only had 2 cups in the morning and I nixed my weak ice tea I used to drink.
Eating mostly dry salads with a dash of vinegar and oil and tons of fresh beets in them along with other greens.
2 avacadoes a day along with a melon.
Cutting back to 2 bottles of wine at dinner.
Only other thing I can do is exercise and lose the 30 I could stand to lose .
Cut down on salt years ago so virtually none and I don't eat anything but fresh food .
I'll give it 30 days constantly monitoring my pressure. If I can't get it under control I guess I'm stuck going to meds.
There were 2 guys my age mid 50s that walked out of the chiropractor clinic we were testing at.
Both were awarded the 90 day also and walked out of there pissed, one because of high blood sugar. .
