I like working on my own stuff and have done some big projects by myself in the past and always had big dreams of more in the future.
Running out of steam and ambition now at 57.
Funny I was just sitting down this evening with a dear friend of mine from Australia who now lives in SW Florida.
He lives on a 42 foot sailboat that him and I brought up to the yard 5 years ago and what was going to be a quick this and that turned into a full stripping gutting 100 hour a week total rehab rebuild that took 15 months .
Anyways everyone on the dock ask me when I am going to buy a boat. And my buddy comments that I don’t have many more big projects left in me . And I know that now.
I still like doing them it’s just so many projects in the yacht world are financially unfeasible.
Probably my next and possibly my last big project I do is ripping into my old International .
Hats off to Tug. He never gives up and adversity for him is a mere flesh wound.

Trailer hooks ups done. Going to put the front fenders on and take er for a spin tomorrow. Got to pull in the trailer replace the ABS valve and air tank. Also pulling the boxes off to put on the truck.
Not really planning on doing other peoples work in the new shop, Mostly just for me. It’s got enough land that if I decide to add a few trucks I'd have room. Or if I couldn’t drive I’d have some options to keep working for myself maybe?
