Both seals leaking! on the spicer forward axle
power divider and cross locks working properly,
dash light for power divider stuck on. Sorry I should have mentioned
I haven't taken the wheels apart yet!
just curious never had two seals on the same axle leak like that before.
Be taking wheels off Monday!

Did you remove the old wear sleeve from the axle? What brand seal was installed?
Most wheel seal issues are due to misinstallation of some type.Last edited: Feb 19, 2021

Regardless I would check the vent. If both seals are brand new and just installed, I'd lean towards improper installation.

And if the light is on in the dash at all times check the switch operation in the diff. Most likely the it’s stuck closed.

Always insist on Stemco seals..

Check air seal at power divider actuator. Its leaking past and pressurizing the whole rear end.
