Hi guys,
Having issues with the blend door stuck in the same position. Hvac controller is working so my next suspect is an actuator. Anyone can chime in on how to get to it?
Thanks in advance

Yup had to replace the whole top of my HVAC box.....remove the right side upper/lower dash panels [you will need to remove the right side grab rail and speaker grill/speaker and possibly the lower kick panel thumb screws behind the floor insulation at the fire wall] then once thats out of the way you can remove the vent ducts and you should see 3 blend doors....motor is on the left side of the center blend door......my guess is the motor probably works but either the gear set is stripped or more likely the main gear has come off the support post. If the gear has come off the post, re-install it making sure it timed properly and put a small self taping sheet metal screw into the center of the post and it wont come off again [thank you Naz for this trick]. You can reach the gears by sending your arm up from the bottom left side of the HVAC and the inner dash area while working from the top looking down....you'll see what i mean once your looking down the left side were the motor is. If the gear is MIA you can cheap out like i did and just buy a good used hvac upper section then swap the whole thing.....if you end up down that road let me know and i can give you some pointers.
