picked up this trailer yesterday at jurupa terminal and noticed a nail in one tire that had a slow leak.
took it over to shop to.drop it off since I wasn't leaving till this.mornimg.
nite shift was in and had only one guy there
he said he get to it later afyer I told.him what time I was leaving.
got.there and trailer was parked in same place and thought he didn't change it.
but after looking at it he did.
so here at ernies for the nite. since I won't have any hours left when other driver gets here.

 

Didn't see too many skateboards when I ran the ports.

 

No, it's rare. They run a few at a time normally. Turns out as I found out we are Talking this in PHX now to be loaded on a Chassis.

We used to take em in, guess we decided to simplify with a division transfer.

 

Good thing they got back to me before we hit I17. They forgot to add the Tcall of course.

 

I was just trying to save you a trip to the ports. Matson is the ONLY terminal I've never been to. I can with 100% certainty that I'm NEVER going back to ANY port EVER again. They don't print enough money to make me endure that misery again.

 

Yeah we dropped it at PHX, my trucks been in the shop since Monday

 

But heres the cool part, I bought a truck from Arrow in PHX, and she aint no normal truck. Only thing im still working on is the insurance, everything else is signed sealed delivered, down paid, sales tax paid, just waiting on finance company to get overnighted originals, then I sign the title.

We are currently signing the contract with our carrier as well.

2007 379 short hood. With drop axel. C15 with and 18 and 3.55 rears. Currently set at 475, that may be adjusted. Only 500K on it, #### if this thing ain't flawless, it's an old Trinity truck.

during pretrip saw a puddle under left front engine.
open the hood and couldn't see where it was coming from.
looked like coolant and oil but.wasnt sure it.was from my truck since nothing was dripping.
so called onroad and they sent me to.t/a in parawon ut.
after 1.5 hrs sitting in bay waiting for tech to show went inside and service.wrjter said mechanic had called in sick so was waiting for the late 8 am guy.
told him that there was no leaks on there floor under my truck

he came out and looked and said most like wasn't no leak.
so i left and arrived at terminal around 1500.
deliver load tomorrow at 1000 am and pick up another at the terminal. taking that.to beaver ut.

I started to get tossed around too much with some 35-40mph gusts and shut down here.
Only 2k in the box so it is like I'm empty, and they were direct cross-winds.

I'm headed to the Mopar place in New Hope, MN, and it's too bad they are closed on the weekend.
But I'll t-call this load at IGH and then do a couple loads for the Costco in Owatonna over the weekend, then deliver this one Monday morning.
And then it will be home time.

Any of you have experience with that Mopar place?
