    I’m needing to stock up on some coolant and just want to make sure that I’m getting the right stuff. This truck is new to me so I don’t know exactly what is in it now. I was going to just get the Zerex HD but since it doesn’t specify for Cat I just wanted to verify. Thanks!

    I grabbed some of shells red coolant. You have to mix it but I figured it's easier to get than Detroit brand. It's an hour ride in any direction to get the other stuff. I've never had an issue with it.

    I always got the concentrated. It always chapped my hide that the 50/50 was about the same price when half of it is water.

    To the OP, use the red Rotella ELC. That's what I always used for my Cat.

    So as long as it says Cat EC-1 then I'm good to go, right? I got some of the Peak stuff at Walmart yesterday.
