Trucker GPS App

Hammer is pretty decent. I'm trying a bunch of them out currently, I'm leaning towards SmartTruckRoute2.

How much do they charge?

 

I have the Hammer app on my iPhone. I usually rely on a combo. The Hammer app, Google, my RM Atlas and a RM740. I first check my route in the RM Atlas to preplan. Then I compare it with Hammer and Google. I then punch it in to my 740. Usually run using the 740 but have my IPhone close at hand. So far works pretty good. I’ve found that if I shut down my 740 when not running has helped. Keeping my fingers crossed. Still have used Google a couple of times when I’ve gotten close. Especially the Satellite view. The most important thing is to preplan so you have a good idea before you leave.
