Need a Good Tech Along My Route

Hello, everyone. I’ve been lurking here forever, but this is my first post, so hello to you all.

Well, been driving for a few years now and finally wanting to get a CB installed in my truck. I just purchased a setup from Walcott Radio which should be delivered before I’m home next. Now my dilemma ... I know NOTHING about CB setups and while I’ve been quietly reading posts here for quite some time I still do not feel I am smart enough to install one without screwing it up.

My assigned route for the company I work for is very specific. I head from the panhandle of Oklahoma along 54 to Tucumcari, where I hop on the 40 and take that to the 15 then down into Riverside, CA. For my return I take 15 from Riverside to 70 then hop over into Denver. Then south to repeat it all again weekly.

I have searched and found a LOT of posts about great techs all over the country, but can’t seem to find any leads on techs along this route to install my gear (Stryker CB peak/tuned with coax and Stryker antennae ... ran me about $550 overall). Due to this being a company route, I can’t take any crazy detours so I’m limited on what I can find.

Do any of you kind souls by chance know a tech along this route which could install my gear? I’d greatly appreciate any leads. Thanks, and stay safe out there, everyone.

 

I did get a SWR meter with the setup. I’m actually comfortable hooking a CB to the preinstalled factory slot, but am uncomfortable taking the mirror off etc. and running coax through panels, etc. That and my company, while they DO give permission for us to have custom coax, antenna and CB setups, well, if I screw up their truck by prying panels, etc. ... I love my company and definitely don’t want to mess their truck up.
