How do you get a new window into place in the passenger side door on a 1999 Western Star 4900?

You are going to have to remove the interior door panel. I am not exactly sure about a WS, but my FRTL Century is held down by about 20+ torx head screws, some of which are along the latch side if the door frame. When you locate and remove all of the screws (I would think WS has screws too) you don't want to just yank out the panel, as it is still attached to the regulator (google search to see a picture as they are all designed alike for cars and trucks). You are going to have to roll the window regulator down to access where it attaches to the glass. There will be a panel that you remove from the interior door panel to have access to the regulator where it attaches to the glass. Detach first then pull the whole door panel out with the remainder of the regulator attached to it. I detach the window regulator from the glass first, then remove the torx screws. Also don't forget any wiring connections like for speakers and window roll down switches before pulling the door panel. You will see how it works after going in there.
