I know this is an old question I'm replying to but, maybe it'll help someone. Ironman tires are made by Hercules tires and are American made. I'm considering putting some on the drives of one of my trucks. A lot of the oilfield guys that work mixed on and off-road use an Ironman all-position tires in, well, all positions. Apparently they seem to last quite a while and don't get torn up much on the oilfield road. I'll let you know if I decide to use them.

    UnionHillGuy and Rideandrepair Thank this.

I run Ironman on my spread axle flatbed. They are TOUGH tires!! Wear good too. It will be what I put back on it when these wear out.

I always thought they were Chinese. I noticed the TAs are stocking up on them. Will definitely be pricing some out. I’ve done alright with Double Road Chinese on Drives. Last set of Bridgestones Dry rotted before I could wear them out. Great tires expensive though.Unless you have acess to LCAP or some other Fleet Discount. Chinese trailer tires lasted 2 yrs aprox 200 k DoubleRoad Brand had separation on inside of tires couldn’t be patched. Also saw a bunch of Chinese at TA Double Coin making a comeback . Used to be good. Most common but I’ve read a lot of problems recently. I’d like a set of Continentals for Drives best tires I’ve had better than Yokos. I’ll stay with Firestone 591 on steers best tire and Value IMO.Been seeing more separation issues with what’s called gum layer even a few Bridgestones WTF is our manufacturing process being brought down ? Makes me wonder

I've used Ironman tires. It's all about tire pressure and maintenance. I'll say this stuff the risk of being crucified, but I think Goodyear tires wear faster than Ironman on the steers. If you're maintaining your front end, I don't see why can't get a decent amount of work out of them

I put an I-601 steer tire on and it made it 21500 miles before it started coming apart.

After 2 weeks my Ironman steers have separated. I do not recommend.

I put 8 Kuhmo drives on my uncles Pete for a rental fee a few weeks back, the truck doesn’t get a lot of miles but they rode alright and BUT I didn’t have to pull that cheetah tank down once to mount them and had all 8 on in less then 2.5 hours/4 beers

I've had a set of ironman drives for over 2 years on my w900. So far I'm not complaining
