69W900A, would that be too bold to ask about my CPL?
It is: 8518
What is it say about engine?
Where that description can be found?
What parts can be upgraded, if any?
Thank you in advance

you being abroad were running the old 570 ecms still do you not having the same emmission requirements and we were running the 870 ecms which there wasn't a 2050 cal. for the 870 ecm
-
So your going to tell me the new EGR signatures are old tech?
They still run 620/2050 with the tighter emissions regulations.
Granted, mine will be an early ecu, given its CPL puts it amontg the original ISX units. -
no in 07 they went to the 871 ecms. you can get the same cals over here you guys just dont have dpfs. i was talking about the 06 isx over here and the 06 over there have different ecms
-
im aware of that, but our 08 and 09 are the same generation engine as your 06.
-
Seems to me you down under have "skipped" one generation of emissions.
Did you get our 2002 EGR (870ECM, no-DPF, no-SCR) in 2008?
Have you ever had our 2007 ECM871, EGR with DPF filter?
What you are buying right now (for how long already?) looks like our 2010 EGR+DPF+SCR -
They currently do not have DPF's or SCR's on their trucks. They are one step behind us on the emisions. I will tell you this. The engine braking performance on an export 600+hp ISX was not as great as I would expect it to be. I guess that you all have complaints about that with the road trains?

Nothing is going to pull those bohemoths up rapidly, most if not all of the RT guys drive accordingly. -
if yout 08s are the same as are 06s where is the egr valve at? like on the driver or passenger side.
-
it is wherever yours is located.
I havent persued them, as im not interested in owning one with all the BS emissions ####. One look at them on the dealer lot and i said no thanks.
Good thing too as the heat rejection of egr motors is a major problem out here, where ambient temps are higher.
