I've been running reefer for almost a year and a half. I think the worst fuel consumption I've experienced would get between 3 and 4 days on a 50 gallon tank. Best usage would probably last close to 2 weeks. Many factors involved in how much fuel gets consumed.
Just be aware, once the reefer gets down to 1/4 tank, you need to get fuel really soon. That last quarter of a tank goes really quick! -
We are dedicated to a chicken plant and our trailers are rarely set to anything other than -10* and not turned off very often. We have 50 gallon fuel tanks and they burn 25 gallons/day during the summer. We can go a little longer during the winter.
The customer rented some former Prime trailers with the 30 gallon tanks last summer. They would run out before 24 hours was up. Needless to say, when the contract was up, the customer got trailers with 50 gallon tanks. -

Perhaps you don’t know yet.
That trailer can and is used to keep things warm. Example... temp set 50 f. Outside temperatures below zero.tscottme Thanks this. -
Winter will last longer then summer. And will probably last longer as a heater vs. Freezer. Not using the ac compressor.

Ac compressor uses more fuel.
I believe it's a correct statement. -
