Ouch, egr cooler

 

Usually when a truck is deleted the EGR cooler is “ deleted “ blocked off and shouldn’t be the problem. It could be injector cup seals.

 

How does an EGR cooler put fuel in the coolant? It can't, completely impossible. EGR cooler cools exhaust gas with coolant. Fuel is never anywhere near it.

More than likely you've got an injector cup or o-ring leaking.

 

The EGR cooler is never removed when a truck is deleted. It’s. Still there , it’s just blocked off. As mentioned before it has nothing to do with fuel. A bad EGR cooler will cause coolant loss, not diesel in the coolant.
I’m not sure on a paccar as far as injector cups , but they do leak diesel into your coolant and the diesel will destroy all your coolant hoses. When you do find out your problem it’s super important that you flush your whole coolant system a few times with degreaser. You want to get all the diesel out . The diesel destroy all the coolant and heater hoses and they will blow one by one.

 

A good way to flush oil or diesel out of the cooling system is liquid dishwasher detergent. We run the truck around for a couple of days with it in.
