Where are you living in Texas, or more importantly, do you get your energy through a Co-Op or through an energy company? Where I grew up we had a Co-Op, and despite their purchasing the electricity rather than producing it they were able to keep the monopoly for electricity. I later lived in 2 other towns close by where my electric was less than 1/4 of what it had cost before, all because of the deregulation and competition.

Now El Paso and Arlington my electric bills were better. They avg mid $200 in winter & mid $300 in summer. Both of these were energy companies.Rideandrepair, lovesthedrive, Dave_in_AZ and 3 others Thank this. -
So minor correction. 1 drop in PA. The other 2 are MD. Plus I have 27 hours left on my clock. So we'll be doing short days for the next few days. They can repower it off of me. If it's urgent. LOL
