I remember once I had to go in the main entrance to see payroll about something. She was there, all smiles, just as nice as can be, greeted me by my first name, had every line ringing, sending calls to various people, paging someone, called down to payroll to let them know I was on my way down, asked me how I was doing and just kept on with her job like it was nothing. I looked at her, smiled, and told her Abilene was lucky I wasn’t running the switchboard, if I was, I would have caused the company to shut down, there was no way I could do that job.

Broker got me an appt for 615 in the morning which I said I won't make it if one thing goes wrong but it was either that appt or Id have to wait til Sat to get empty, so I said Ill chance it and hope for the best to get there by 615. Load was originally due today but the original driver they booked this load for decided to refuse it so I decided to take it and do my best with it, good miles from memphis to corinne UT. Good thing I ran back to back 700 mile days.

See if we have any dropped trailers there. It amazes me the DC’s we have dropped trailers at. I picked one up in southern Utah once. If so, just drop it.

No dropped trailers of ours at Corinne Walmart DC here in UT. Thanks for the info though on checking for trailers. They were pretty quick though unloading.

They are definitely the most efficient Walmart DC I have ever been to.

I did make it to the yard Wednesday. And then had to drive home. I felt like I had driven 700 miles instead of 400. Went to bed and slept. Got up the next day and things got a little better. No food tolerated, but my husband made sure I stayed hydrated. And then....I tried to eat clear liquids and soft, bland foods like the doctors said. Yeah, nope. Almost back at square one. I have an appointment with my PC Monday. I haven’t been able to eat a darn thing since last Monday. On the bright side, I’m sure I’ve lost at least some of this extra weight I’ve needed to loose for a while. SMH.
