$7500 for 300 miles is a decent paying load.... I'd get higher paying ones but thats just me.
GoneButNotForgotten and Bean Jr. Thank this. -
The load is actually 1900 miles. But 300 to get it. I'm just being lazy.
-
Only peasants work for $3.90 / mile
dztruck, LoneRanger, Dave_in_AZ and 2 others Thank this. -
I know right. Plus it's out yo LA.

$3.40 a mile with your bounce, depending on where it was going I’d take it. Maybe I’m a peasant. Pays enough you can bounce into a good part of the country or better yet get a great load from where you deliver. I usually try for $5-$6 a mile, with that kind of miles though and if the load was light and easy no tarp, I wouldn’t hesitate.
Dave_in_AZ, Bean Jr., Brettj3876 and 1 other person Thank this. -
Sounds like a good load. Now is not the time to be lazy. You want to be lazy when rates are bad. I see that often though, when rates are good people slack. When they suck they run the wheels off.
Final Drive, TallJoe, black_dog106 and 2 others Thank this. -
Speed_Drums Thanks this.

I'm not typically lazy. Just this past two weeks I've been home. Didn't feel like deadheading 300 miles to get my first load.
