If an extractor doesn't work, what about sliding a nut over the rounded off portion and welding it to the sensor? That way you can get a larger wrench or socket onto it.

Do you have room to drill straight down into the sensor.?

Not without removing the whole box unfortunately. Just to get to the sensor i have to slide under the truck. Between the borrom of sensor and frame of truck, maybe 6" of space

You might cut the sensor and using a angled airdrill, drill out the old sensor in the hope that drilling it out relieves the tension on the thread.
    Just a idea.
    Your call.

How much time to take the box off?

I would soak it down with some blaster than Cut the top off and pound a 6 point impact socket on it .

Heat the heck out of the surrounding area and hit it with the impact.

If not weld a big nut on it .

Maybe off topic but has anyone ever had success with penetrating oil? Its never really done anything for me that I could tell.

Theres no room to use a hammer to pound anything onto the stripped sensor. Theres like 6" of space and its the outlet nox so its under the truck. I had it soaked for 2 days before attempting to take the sensor off with a socket. Cant even get an angle grinder in there without hitting the tube. Option would be to I guess get an angle drill and try that or ill just have to take the whole box off. At this piont im just going to have to take it to my mechanics tomorrow to see if somehow magically he can get it out. This has just been one impossible sensor and Im down not working until It gets fixed.

I could try to weld a nut on it but again, Theres only like 6" of space in the area of the sensor.

I've had the best luck running till it gets up to temp then try to get it out. If it's stripped out a good old fashioned AIR hammer with a chisel bit usually works the best
