    My dad was the same when I'd enjoy a cigar. Funny thing is when he would take a puff he always hated it even though he got a craving from the smell. He quit when he was 50, Doc told him he wouldn't see my sisters 1st birthday if he didn't stop smoking. He lasted into his 70s, but he had a multitude of health problems from his years driving, smoking, poor diet, etc..

    I was off of them close to 10 years then I got with my wife, who smokes, and I finally broke.

    Did that with my first x when I was 19. Knocked one out, and she handed me a smoke we always shared.

    Sorry about your brother. Mine dropped dead at 46. Didnt smoke or drink. Heart issue due to malfunctioned thyroid.
