Do you guys that own your own trailer(s) notice you get more flats, failures, damage to your trailer tires?

Seems like trailer tires go bad more frequently, or get damaged from road hazards,, and many aren't that old.

Yes sir trailer tires get the #### end of road hazards. I rarely have a problem with the tractor tires but am always with trailer. Some of it is because I see something on the road miss it with the tractor but the trailer always seems to find it.

I rotate my drives and trl tires every 75k and alignment on both yearly, replace shocks all around truck and trailer yearly.
Centramatics on all 5 axles. Seems to get my trl tires great mileage

No I don't have issues. I love being the one and only person who pulls my trailer. Never seem to have all those trailer issues like I once did when doing drop and hook with numerous trailers every week.... I wonder why? LOL

What I hauled scrap metal yeah lots more flats on the trailer, same thing but to a lesser extent with a lot of construction sites.

And sometimes on the highway your tractor tires will run over a screw or a bolt or something that is laying flat, and they will kick said screw or bolt up a bit and it will be doing a dance pointy side up when your trailer tires hit it

I have the tire PSI monitoring on the trailer also. Check out www.tsttruck.com , they are great with any warranty issues like replacement sensors etc. Had the system now 4.5 years don't ever want to be without it!
