All those big tall stacks do is prevent your truck from going places it could otherwise go .

Frankly I don't see too many well put together glitzy trucks. When you get up close to them and have to work on them it's likeyou're wondering what kind of a moronic amateur installed this? Alsoalso a lot of those chrome shop partsare really of low quality as far as durability and function goes

I guess I've come full circle or just getting old. I use to be all in to the 7" stacks and straight pipes but the more I see them the more I like the factory 5" pipes with stack guards. Especially on a W900 for example. Not into the straight pipes sticking way out from the cab. Also started appreciating the old school V bumper look with the mud flaps on the ends like you use to see on alot of R models. Thats just my opinion now but to each there own

I went from 7” flat tops to 5” flat tops when I bought my Commiefornia truck. And I’m getting fond of the 5” look. C97F2DAC-CD4D-496E-A87B-20C0CE55573D.jpeg

    We
Nice clean looking thing ain't it?but I'd have to chop the stacks down a bit I'm sorry to say, I find myself in too many places with low clearances. Not to mention one Bay in my garage only has 12 foot doors on each end. I guess I could use the 14 foot Bay side, but I usually have something that can't help being tall in that side, like a 13-6 trailer. Or my big forklift. That's all she's a side with all the welders and machine tools and whatnot it's for a lot of dust so I wouldn't want to park a pretty truck like that over there
