Used to be one built like the on old US45 in downtown Norris City, IL... 5 of us running together stopped for breakfast heading south in to town. Ate; strolling back while others scurried to pull out first, old hand whispered :"Check your oil". So I upped hood and asked why? He softly said "Cause I know a near cut". They left, We dropped hoods, pulled out and went about 200 feet, turned left and in 50 yards crossed a railroad track. then turned right (South) and came on downtown. Within 4 or 5 blocks we came BY this old brick RR overpass; with the the 3 speedy on the other side motioning, each other back. Oval top was 10' sides lots lower. Old hands rock.
