What is really fun is when SC does Operation Rolling Thunder! I remember driving from the Ga line to the NC line on 85 and the entire way was seeing cops of all depts with cars pulled over. This was something SC did a lot. I have not lived in that area since 2013 so I don't know how much they do this today!

I had an uncle lived there in the 60s. Spent a lot of time in the summers there with my cousins. They moved out after the oldest graduated high school but the neighborhood was a good blue collar type place. Good memories.

It isn't unusual for truck drivers to have trouble like this. Too many consecutive hours sitting in the same position. When I flew overseas, the airlines would always warn the passengers about this and suggest that you get up every few hours and walk around a little. Trucking companies don't want anyone stopping so they have pretty much stayed silent on the subject.
