Can confirm. I pull a flatbed, and I've never been concerned with going to the gym.

Probably just coincidence in my case, lol.

So you think that after you drive for 11 hours plus have a break mid-day, shower sometime in the day, eat and possibly even prepare food. That you are going to have the time... Or even want to go to a gym or read more than 1 page of a book???

Yeah the only time I do much like that is if I get stuck somewhere because of road closures...other wise I spend as much time as i can trying to get some rest.

Yes I have a kindle. And my local library has a free digital service too. You should consider looking up your local library from wherever you're licensed out of, they probably have a free digital library that you can take advantage of, maybe save a few bucks a month. The kindle probably has more options though. I just prefer reading physical books if possible. Nothing wrong with asking to see if there's an option available.

Ya know it took a little time to get used to the Kindle. But now I’m so used to the compactness, backlight, storage, full library, long charge time (weeks), I just can’t go back. The only real negative is navigation. I like a lot of reference works (commentaries) and it can get a little cumbersome when I need to jump around.
    They are making improvements, however.

I'm more of a bookstore type than a library person. IDK, besides reading a book, I want to own a copy too. And, I do read BOOKS while on the road. I just like the tactile feeling of a paper book over a screen. That said, I have a 10" tablet and do have several books I can read on it (All the Lord of the Rings books since I can read them again and again and never get tired of them).
I usually drop off the books I've read when I go on hometime and reward myself with a trip to my local bookstore for a couple more to take with me on the road.
I'm also a sci fi fan. Lately I'm reading The Expanse books. I'm on the 8th book of the series. The 9th and final book of the series is supposed to drop sometime late this year. Good Science Fiction!!!! Also, there is a show of The Expanse on Amazon Prime. The first 5 seasons have been made, roughly corresponding to the first 5 books. Also really good!!
Anyway, don't listen to the naysayers. Although some days I don't read any, most days I find some time to read. And, I find reading a good way to spend my time waiting to get loaded or unloaded. Only dilemma is getting to a good part and having to put it down because they are finished with me and I have to go. Aargghhhh.

Pre Covid I parked and bobtailed to Planet fitness , went to boxing gyms in Amarillo , Phoenix and Saltlake .
Its been harder to workout during this time but Planet fitness has been open for sometime now .
For whatever reason some truckers think it's impossible or not worth doing . A simple jump rope and yoga mat with medicine ball can get you a complete workout in a empty trailer .
