Just got the funniest image in my mind. A family skiing down the emergency truck ramp. Their SUV being pushed up the ramp at them by a truck. At a rapid pace. Them too stunned to ski off the ramp.

 

I’ve seen too many of these. Only explanation is driver fell asleep.
One night I carefully got by a truck. 4am. He was obviously pushing way too far. Falling asleep. All over the road. Slamming on his brakes when he’d wake up. All over speed. You and I know he needed a cop to pull him over. Put him out of service for ten hours. I called 911. The brilliant operator said: Do you want to file a complaint? .... Doh!
