Violation?

You know I never worried about this. Never was stopped. Then a buddy that I ran with got tagged for it. Only thing they could find on him. I installed mine the same week.

 

Its a violation depending on who you're "dealing with". Pulled in driving a Penske straight truck one time and told " if you're gonna have the reflective tape it has to go All the Way across".I said well.."You better go down to Penske, because all their new truck rentals are like this". They gave me a warning.Lol

Photos are not from a dashcam, they are framed differently. Cellphone camera. Sorry, thought about this while driving today. Guess I was distracted too. :-/

Seriously playing with your phone is a lot worse violation then the tape on a trailer some here are concerned with.

 

Penalties for handheld cellphone use while driving a CMV can be up to $2750 on the driver PLUS up to $11,000 on the carrier.

 

No I get that. And I'm fine with it. However you have zero idea what type of camera rig he has. Your assumptions could be right or wrong. You do not know.
