Change dash from 2000 to a 2002-2004 dash on 2000 W900L

Just bought my 1st truck. It's a 2000 KW W900L 86" Studio Sleeper with C-16 600 HP CAT w/ 18 Spd. I'm looking to customize the truck to me and love the "easy-reach" dash KW started putting in the trucks in 2002. I'm looking for the full dash out of 2002-2004-2005 KW. Prefer those dashes over the new 2006-current because the 2002-2005 dashes have the toggle switches where as the 2006+ have rocker switches. Anyone know if its as simple as just pulling old dash out and putting new dash in or is there more work involved such as making new holes or anything. Thanks for any help on this. Also if anyone knows a good place to buy an 02-05 dash please let me know. Thanks

 

Thanks for explaining the dash alittle more in depth CatPowerC15... This truck that I bought is a nice project truck for me since its my 1st... I'm currently still driving a company truck for the company I'm with now and going to be working on the W900 on the weekends I'm home to get it all setup the way I want it. I'm still looking for a good company to lease it on with because the company I currently drive for is not signing on Owner Ops anymore so I have to take the truck to a different company. Are you interested in selling the shell of that '03 dash?? If so how much are you asking for it?? What items would I need to get to have the complete setup? Thanks
