2010 Volvo Ishift no throttle response in gear

I would start by shutting truck off and looking at batteries, terminals corroded, corrosion on batteries. Lots of electronic modules that rely on good clean voltage. Secondly turn battery disconnect above batteries. Let sit 10 min or so and then turn back on. Have driver check for loose connections on batteries.

 

I suspect that is the stability control stepping in and taking the throttle away.
Is there someone near that can scan it just in case its a simple fix?
Alternatively open the fuse box and remove the ABS fuse and see if that gets
the throttle back.
To open the fuse panel pull the cup holder out part way and remove the two
T20 head Torx screws then pull up on the plastic cover and cup holder.
There is a map of the fuses on the bottom of the cover.

 

May have some corrosion in wiring harness connectors at transmission, or a chaffed harness. Also could be an air issue. Those I shift trans are heavily reliant on air pressure and good clean dry air.
But at this point without looking at the truck or plugging in I am of no further help. Good luck

Has driver checked connector to shift controller next to seat?.
