Hello there I just want to share what I did.

I was tire of the food in truck stops and the small space that a truck fridge have so I ending buying this commercial conter top fridge and it work nice. I can fill it with enough homemade food for at least 3 weeks.

I plugged it in a 2000 watts inverter. Run the microwave at the same time without any issue 700watts microwave

The fridge it srlf is only 180 watts so it does not drain the battery at all.

I hope it does give someone else an idea. Btw this is in a kenworth t680 i ties it to the cabinet behind the passenger seat. I was going to remove the cabinet but I do not own the truck. It cost me 500$ canadian.

The motor of the fridge is at the top and it does have some rubberized feet. Switch for the lights and lockable door.

Have both a dorm style refrigerator and small microwave. Run off a 3000 watt inverter.
Going on 5 years. Well worth the investment.

I bought a 54 quart freezer chest. It sits in my passenger seat. I can keep a couple week worth of food in it. For stuff I need to keep, cold, but not frozen, I use an igloo electrostatic cooler. Together they seem to ne doing the trick for me. I usually keep the freezer at 0°. At night before I go to bed, I turn off my inverter, which also powers the freezer. When I get up in the morning, turn the inverter back on and my freezer is always still under 20°. If I run my freezer and bunk heater all night, my inverter starts fussing at me at some point about low voltage input.
Anyway, that is a nice looking set up. Hope it works well for you. Personally, I'd rather have generous freezer space over refrigerator space.

Why spend so much? You can get a mini-fridge for US$100-150 at Walmart.

    Tb0n3 and Rideandrepair Thank this.
