    What are the companies out there, that are owner op only ( apart from those like Landstar, Mercer etc that are basically a conglomerate of brokers ) ?

    All the expedite companies . They hire tractors and there isn't a glut of trctors in expedite like there is straight trucks and cargo vans .

    Riley Whittle out of Cincinnati, Oh. Or N. Kentucky. They are a broker as is R.E. Garrison out of Cullman, Al. Whittle is all O/O, not sure if Garrison has company trucks. Whittle buys truckloads of produce and then finds a buyer in the Ohio Valley as the truck is moving across country. Also, check out Roberts and Oaks.

    There are a few steel hauler companies running around with all O/O trucks...the one I can think of off the top of my head is Kaplan Trucking out of Cleveland, OH

    Mawson & Mawson, I think they are steel haulers out of PA. Jones Motor Co. out of PA also I think. Ace Doran out of Cincinnati, OH. Their are many, many more
