I don’t see how it’s easy backing out rofl I mean lots of places are difficult enough pulling out of without taking off the next truck over’s front bumper, much less backing!

Spent almost all day walking in Copacabana, in Rio yesterday..
Saw several small one bedroom apartments... and ended up renting the same one I had chosen before, when I saw the pictures sent by real estate agent...
It's about half the size of this one but more expensive... and not too close to grocery market... But still, the best among the others.
Signed one month contract, paid... and was planning on moving there this Thursday but will have to remain in this hotel here in Cabo Frio till my dental treatment is finished.
Thought it would be done with dental today but dentist called and said not yet.. Will have to wait till who knows... hopefully soon...Last edited: Mar 9, 2021

There is certain spots in every truckstop that are setup for a easy nose in. But im going to the same places everyday.. Ive parked for the night in the same spot everyday for the past 2 weeks... and spent all last year parking here too... they might as well just put up a sign with my name on it . Reserved for tibbittsinglescrewshaker, dwells40, jamespmack and 5 others Thank this.

You can plan out the spot to back in or you can plan out a spot for backing out. Ones not more difficult than the other really. And boss in you can keep the curtains open and nobody is looking in at you. You could have boobs and be nekkid and still nobody's peeking. Just sayin...singlescrewshaker, dwells40, jamespmack and 6 others Thank this.

It only gets awkward if you park in angled parking with another row behind .. And the guy decides to nose in as well....singlescrewshaker, Wasted Thyme, jamespmack and 5 others Thank this.

So in other words never miss doing your pre trip inspection and take a wide view of the back of your trailer hahaha jk
The only spot I’d nose into is one where I could back straight out with no trucks behind me, but those seem to always be the first to go because they’re the easiest... besides, unless you’ve been driving a long time, nosing in won’t help ya if you gotta back into a dock at some ghetto arse US Gypsum or or, deliver paper!singlescrewshaker, jamespmack, PoleCrusher and 4 others Thank this. -
You do have to look over the whole scene. If you can't back straight out you're screwed or you need a mirror or 2 lol. Only bad one I've done is Rawlins in front of the pumps but they made a 2nd row behind me overnight. It worked out cuz I couldn't roll due to wind.jamespmack, PoleCrusher, Eldiablo and 2 others Thank this.

My nose in is 99.9% so that I'm NOT looking at trucks or tar. I'm aiming for trees or grass or something. If I'm facing trucks might as well back in. This is why I'm not in truck stops unless it's unavoidable. I'm in rest areas 99% of the time if I'm sleeping.singlescrewshaker, OLDSKOOLERnWV, dwells40 and 10 others Thank this.
