So as things get ####tier and ####tier with Bison/TransX and IHaul (I H&R), I've started looking at other companies operating the AB/TX lane.

Out of nowhere, I get this email from Charger Logistics? I guess one of the ABL planners from Bison is over there now, and asked if I was interested in a AB/TX (Laredo/Dallas) drop and hook type deal.

I honestly don't know anything about Charger, except the usual "its a brown company from Ontario" spiel and they are huge with terminals all over the place. So just thought I would ask, before replying to buddy here.

I also got an email from Triple 8......yea no lol.

My experience with charger is this. They lost many automotive contracts they had due to complete incompetence. 8 months later they were cutting everyones rate by half to get the contracts and winning them back. Amazing how easy it is to forget the reason why they were fired in the first place.

Yea, I think at this point, I either have to do Landstar or just quit driving. Will just be trading one dispatcher disaster for another lol.

My Research has been pretty bad lol, so I would agree Bison is better, and you will get paid...on time.

They have many aggressive drivers so I’d suspect their safety rating is bad. They undercut by a huge amount on freight then when it doesn’t work time wise they leave the freight sitting on the dock. Also started seeing trailers and trucks with a small charger name and something else much larger which escapes me right now. All signs are pointing to another Canada/king fiasco which bankrupted both.

    or just quit driving. Quote...

There are driving jobs without being O/O and OTR. In the city there, even gravel drivers will start at 25 hr. Forget the mileage jobs and be home at the end of the day. Besides, no worries.
Figure in "real" hours on otr work, including detention and divide that into the pennies left after all the overhead, right down to the accountants invoice in the end.
Would like to hear the number. Not too good me thinks. JMO

Dont know anything about Charger but they would likely be shocked to have experienced Driver apply who speaks the Kings English. Good luck
