Please do not get this broker so 3 pl massive, stay away from them , drop trailer load , but they are never tell you, you will see after u wait for 8 hrs shipper and receiver, no English, omg please guys I hope they out of business soon

 

Looks like they have been at this game a long time.
How have they not gone to jail or at least been shut down?
If a carrier was breaking laws like this, it would be prison time

It looks like MAP 21 establishes civil penalties in the following:

‘(c) CIVIL PENALTIES AND PRIVATE CAUSE OF ACTION.—Any person who knowingly authorizes, consents to, or permits, directly or indirectly, either alone or in conjunction with any other person, a violation of subsection (a) is liable—
(1) to the United States Government for a civil penalty in an amount not to exceed $10,000 for each violation; and (2) to the injured party for all valid claims incurred without regard to amount.
(d) LIABLE PARTIES.—The liability for civil penalties and for claims under this section for unauthorized brokering shall apply, jointly and severally— (1) to any corporate entity or partnership involved; and (2) to the individual officers, directors, and principals of such entities.

There doesn't appear to be any criminal penalties associated for it, but @wichris may know more as to the specifics of if there are. As far as getting them shut down? How many people actually go after them, I wonder, other than the handful of collections agencies that seem to pop up after them? I'd guess that there's a fair amount of guys who just take the lumps and roll on, because they perceive the attempts to recoup are going to cost them more in time, trouble, and effort than they stand to re-gain off of the deal.

 

Round robin between the states and the feds. They all push it off on the other. Broker is in one state, load pu's in another state, delivers in yet another state. If the broker calls you, it's one jurisdiction. If you call the broker it's another. What state were you in when the broker called, what state when you called them.

 

I wonder if this group is careful about who they steal from. Seems like its immigrants and people who dont have a lot of verbal skills. People who might not be able to make a good case for themselves

 

Doesn't really matter, it's next to impossible to get any criminal charges filed. Administrative fines only matter to the company that stays in business.

 

So to just update all of us hard hard-working people out here trying to battle against everything thrown at us from the shippers, shady brokers, shady road mechanics, fuel prices and whoever else is trying to take our lively hood. Massive3PL is frauds. Just booked a load with them on Thurs April 1st, 2021. First of all, major problems with the multiple stop load, but we got it done. The receiving locations didn't know who the company was and everything was shady. NOW TO THE IMPORTANT STUFF, We cannot reach anyone to get paid. We called so many different number and emails and all they do is respond with one word answers and then it will be another day before you get another one word answer. Every number is a google voice number or a text to email number. Emails that are posted on their website and answering service and no longer good. I will not let these crooks get away with this. We are putting of lives on the line everyday to make a living and to have these crooks steal from me is unacceptable. PLEASE DO NOT TAKE LOADS FROM THIS COMPANY. Report them somehow someway....

 

Generally you send an invoice in to get paid and you'll likely have to wait 30 days before it's even worth trying to call and ask the status. Why do you need a phone number to get paid? Invoicing info (email or PO address) should be on the rate con.

I am not defending this broker. I have never worked with them.

That’s all I have to say! I contacted them multiple times and in the end when they saw they couldn’t win with reason they blocked my email. LMAO what kind of a move is that! Cowards!! I hope they get shut down!!

They lie! Never do drop trailer or any load that’s “live unload” because it’s probably going to be a drop trailer!
My trailer was held so long that my boss almost called the cops!

Just save yourself the headache and move on to the next load.
