So Earl ####ed his leg, stepped down on the brake and it went down to the floor, stayed right there on the floor. He said it was kinda like steppen on plum.

I always slowed way down for those curves you are headed for.

Heh, after the final big right-hander the first few times I was thinking, woo-hoo the downhill is over, off the jake and easy street. That easy grade is deceptive in that I'd look down and wonder, why am I gaining so much speed?

Well, from there on down it just wasn't real pretty
It was hairpin county and switchback city
One of 'em looked like a can full of worms
Another one looked like malaria germs

Looks like you're pretty lucky to still have a wife. Sorry it happened to her.
    How did she roll it?

Well my answer is by stupidly driving needlessly while conditions weren't good.

Her answer is she hit some ice, but she wasn't speeding. Fortunately she was in my truck, rather than the car we decided to get rid of. I don't think a Hyundai Accent would have stood up as well.
