I got hosed fro a shop last year. The dam truck wouldn't hold prime after I got it back. But they were just pure bs ewhen I was there with them, no way in hell I was going to give them more of money after that. An oring in the fuel filter broke......
Odometer doesn’t lie, will they take care of the extra charges?

Good luck. Not saying 4 or 5 year trade cycles are wrong. Its just i don't like being tied to a payment. Each to their own. Warranties are usually prorated. Engine and truck manufacturers are not your friend.

I’m under no illusion they’re my friends. If I don’t drink whisky with them, they’re not my friends. Same as my dispatcher! Lol.stillwurkin Thanks this.

I agree that the shop should own a mistake like that. Test drive vs no test drive just sounds like a cop-out for not having to pay a bill.
I liken that to the people who blame a mechanic for the A/C not working when all the mechanic did was rotate tires 2 weeks prior.stillwurkin, 77fib77, feldsforever and 1 other person Thank this. -
My only thing with this is. He got charged for the test drive in their hourly rate.77fib77 and aaronpeterbilt3787 Thank this.

Fair point. That might be worth a half hour's labor. But I'd start at an hour and make them haggle me down.feldsforever and 77fib77 Thank this.
