    I understand where you're coming from.

    Though not preferred ... I can deal with catnapping, as well shifting my sleep schedule. Most of my working life have been in jobs that required me to do so.

    I had to do the split yesterday in order to make it to beaver ut.
    worked for me.
    did 2 hrs In sleeper.
    have to hit the pair with sb square at this time. it will stay checked. did my 10 in sleeper and unchecked box when I went on duty.
    no violation.

    When I was with Swift I did splits ALL THE TIME! Drove the planners (and the evil computer) CRAZY!

    other driver not gonna do the next trip. Denver cancelled the trip due to weather.
    so gonna pick a load up at the terminal and tcall it in pheonix terminal.
    then grab one there and tcall it back to jurupa on sunday.
    in Barstow finishing up a 30 m break and heard there is a bad accident sb in Hesperia.

    Tcalled the load at pheonix terminal.
    drove around 3 times looking for the trailer that I was suppose to take with no luck.
    dl said it was on the way to final without being dispatched to a driver.
    I got a.message aroumd 0800 saying it was ready to be picked up.
    so dl gave me another load and no paperwork in the box.
    he gave me the driver's number who Tcalled it and he claims he put it there.
    so ending up bobtailling back to jurupa terminal tomorrow.
    drove down to the flying j at.exit 1 for my.ten and get ho.e tomorrow for.my day off Monday
    not sure what the plan is for tuesday

    It is standard practice these days for the driver to scan in the BOL when t-calling, for just such things.
    But I wonder...
    Who would take the paperwork from a trailer?
    More likely the driver forgot to leave it there but won't admit to the mistake.

    And your dl said it was on the way to the final, but it was not even dispatched to a driver?
    What is that?!

    how does trailer leave the terminal without it being attached to the driver?.
    unless they driver went thru the fuel island.

    Just an FYI the navigation on the new zonar tablets AKA new Qualcomm....sucks Why a programmer on the pointe app would not include the actual miles to ones destination is beyond me.....

    But the pros
    I like how it handles the loaded and empty calls
    It's faster response time...

    Cons

    Can't stand no week overview on hours like old Qualcomm...and can't stand that you have to hit the duty Status and then hit save is sorta irks me lol
