Oh hell, watch out!

I also will be grateful for whatever truck I am able to get...as for the Sat Radio receiver, they will GIVE you one that you can install yourself? That's so cool! I already have an XM subscription, so I will just add another receiver to my account....I thought I'd have to buy my own. I was pricing them at Wally World, and they are about $60....just one less thing I gotta buyLast edited: Nov 25, 2009

tenpinoutlaw,
I start the 10 day on the 14th, I'll be on my way in as you are getting your truck. If you get a chance, let us know what the 10 day program is like. See you all soon. -
Correction Warp. They're not free. They charge you $30 for the unit (which is a great price in my opinion) and take it off of your first check. Still, great deal

S2B is not correct in saying that W/S will GIVE you a XM receiver. You can buy one and put it in your self. The guy who had this truck before me left all the wiring. It took me about 10 minutes to hook mine up and it's great when your running down the back roads. -
There are several posts on here asking about what freight comes out of the Vancouver and Lakewood terminals. Like S2B said if it fits in the box you drag it. I tend to take mostly paper. I have delivered furniture and carpet up to BC. I have been down dirt roads in Montana to pick up landscaping loads going to Alaska. I took it to the Tacoma port.

It's good to see all the west coast drivers coming on board. Those of you who don't drive in the snow and ice much, it's good you are training up here in the winter. I'll take California drivers any day of the week over these 2 lane ice covered pig trails we run in Montana and Wyoming. You have to get that ,CA pedal to the metal, mind set out of your head when your driving up north. The instructors here are very good and professional. As S2B said in an earlier post you need to come to 10 day class ready to learn. there is a lot of info that they go over. TAKE LOTS OF NOTES!!!

For you nubs who are coming up to Missoula,
You can fly into the Missoula airport. W/S will reimburse you what it would cost if you took a bus. I took a flight out of Oakland up to Seattle and over to Missoula. I don't remember the cost but it was worth not sitting in a bus for 22 hours and putting your life in the hands of some of these bus drivers. -
I absolutely plan on flying rather than sitting for over 1 day in a bus....if I have to be in a vehicle for that long, I want to be driving it!! And the $30 for a Sat radio unit is pretty good price. Is it Sirius or XM? I have XM so need that one....
