What if it Snows?

Whew! I’m at least 20 pgs behind. Requesting a waiver, call it covid related. Should be approved. These 450-700 one day trips catch up with me. After a few, I always end up what I call chasing it. That is picking up, going to bed, and running all night to deliver. Finally got my weekend run. Headed to Pittsburgh. Last place I want to go. After the last run in with Local Police, and getting put OOS, for BS reason. Only time I ever told the Cops off, Sober at least. I ended up somewhat winning in Court. Cost Me more to fight it. Drove 300 miles in a blizzard With my back out, to Court. Still gets me angry, but it’s the Principle if it all.

 

You mean I can’t go straight to the Top? That’s why I bought my first Truck. Leased on for .80 cpm. Straight to the top, Lol. It beat 28 cpm at the time. Fuel @$1.00 gal. Truck pymt @$1000 mo. I was able to match the Local Teamster Job working 60 hrs a week, I got laid off from. Liked to starved at .28cpm, for 6 mos. matching the Qualcomm to within an hour. Driving a Company Truck. O/Os didn’t need Qualcomm’s, so We would get all the Freight. Actually split logged for a month straight, stealing 45 min. off both ends of every break, just to get any miles. Lol. I remember a Driver saying “ You can’t do that!” Oh yes I can!!! Good times, ( NOT )
