Insurance renewal time!

    So insurance is up in May. Current insurance quoted my an increase of 3k a year(ooida) totalling 15.5k! Progressive quoted me at 11.8k(surprising!) Trying to get ahold of great west, called them they said I have to wait for an agent to call me back. It's been a week now. Who else should I call? I run open deck, am in Tennessee, and stay in the south/Midwest. Never go to west coast, north, or northeast. TYIA

    I get my insurance through C. M. Brown in Perryville, Missouri. Great people, they handle Great West and could probably work up a quote for you in a few hours.

    I have heard so many stories about OOIDA insurance that I am not sure who even calls them for a quote! Every single quote I have ever heard is high and now with rates coming down a tad for covid OOIDA goes up!?

    I went with them when I started. They quoted me 12kish. They were by far the cheapest. Heck progressive quoted me 30k! How things change after 2 years

    Yup renewing this year , first year my rate went up . Only way I can get almost the same rate is pay in full , I planned on that already but still surprised by the rate .

    I have progressive and so do most of my buddies. I hate to support the company, but bottom line; they are usually the cheapest and they are easy to deal with.

    OOIDA seems the best for new O/Os. I called progressive and great west and both wanted over 20k as a new end dump O/O. Meanwhile OOIDA wanted 14k. However, i know they suck for established O/Os so ehh

    And keep in mind thats with a spotless record on my part.
