It's been hit and miss with me forever on these projects. Of course now, I'm just going with a generic, SW Desert design based on both UP and BNSF routings. The "Great Southern OverTransCon"!!!

I like woman and I like sex. The best way to manage that situation is to test a woman for a long time before you get hitched. I haven't been disappointed with my decision and I like her family, including my MIL, gawd rest her soul. We've yet to throw a punch at one another too. Although there was this one time I got kicked out of the house. She slammed the door so hard behind me that the front entry light broke off its mount. Also, having sex with the same woman is a heck of a lot safer than dippin' your Richard into every Peggy and Sue.

I worry about you boys who have sweared off women in this thread. That can't be healthy.

 

I advise buying her a house and a car........then just head on down the road.......much cheaper and a lot less aggravation.

 

That's some backwards thinking. Plenty of men and women that are doing fine without spouses. And with some of the schedules we work, if none of us were hooked to someone prior to doing this or some other line of time intensive work, then forget it. You do yourself and I'll do me. No reason to push romantic relationships onto everyone else like it's imperative to life. To be blunt, it may enrich one's life, while it has the potential to destroy and alter anothers.

 

And we worry about you too!
