How much for a new heater core?

THAT said, you may have difficulty getting to the heater core box depending on your vehicle's setup. If youre not mechanically inclined, go to an ac shop that does trucks, 3k might be cheap for the amount of hassle.

Could be as low as 150$

 

I did mine in a 2016 Cascadia. Was only $75 for the heater core.
Did myself in two hours.
Remove the covers under the glove box, remove the centre doghouse cover. Undo the hoses. Cut out the cover for the heater core and pull it out. New core comes with a new cover that screws down.

 

It all depends on how much #### they gotta take apart to get at the #### thing and how long it takes. Not to mention if its the only thing broken. If the lines are bad they need swapped out ect.

 

Its quite the spread, no doubt, but thats the price of them having the tools and know how when you dont.

(If its 3k id be surprised, but then again, they design cars that require you to remove your bumper in order to change a headlight these days)
