What if it Snows?

Here in Maine the DOT requirement is to recheck the load after 2 miles and recheck the load in 5 miles. It doesnt matter if your hauling commercial or even a farm tractor.

Heck even the toy I hauled home yesterday had loosened up in Ellsworth. It was cinched through the frame, pulling the tractor firmly against the headboard of the trailer. DOT could have nailed my CDL because I only used one strap to secure a 2000# 8 foot long load.

I wanted to be up and rolling five hours ago.

I AM rested now, though. And I have a box of ribs to take home from the 87 BBQ in Jackson, TN.

And now that they're open, maybe I'll stop off and get a couple of bbq sammiches for breakfast. So there.

Gotta pretrip and fuel, and get haulin. Seven and a half hours to the house.
Fortunately, I have Monday off.
Unfortunately, I have Monday off to go take a cardiac stress test.
