Hey guys, been looking for ideas about my sqweeky treadle valve that was occasionally causing hard stopping. I recently changed the foot valve, and now have zero pressure on the gauges, just a ton of air coming out foot valve exhaust. Thank you for any ideas you may provide. 1999 Freightliner Century, series 60, a month or 2 ago changed governor and air dryer filter.
Squarely foot valve, replaced now no pressure

Air pressure was very strong at 140 psi before sqweeking started. Now with new foot valve there is zero pressure. Thanks again!

Best guess you hooked something up wrong, or possibly bad new part

Oh ok, thanks I will go back through it tomorrow and double check my work.

Foot valve is a quarter turn off! Replacements are a little different!
baha Thanks this. -
What you have on high side needs changed to the low side. There’s an upper chamber and a lower camber.
AJWESLEY and Spartan101 Thank this. -
Alright will do. So just switch the primary to secondary and such. Switch the lines around?

Sir Thank you for your answer! After pulling the valve back off, you were correct “SUP” and “DEL” we’re backwards. Many thanks!

Just to clarify, valve only needed to be rotated 1/4 turn and fittings reattached in correct places. Valve was off 1/4 turn, which was causing no pressure building in tanks and ONLY exhausting out foot valve exhaust port.
