Seems silly not to quote some loads heading in to Canada when I live so close. Last time I checked in to it I got kinda confused and let it go. What do us carrier/o/O's need to do?

Not to high jack your thread but do ya need anything special to go into California, my trucks a 18 so it has DEF. any special tags or fuel permits?

I got a neighbor that bought some military hummers, there by Barstow so only 100 miles in. But yes I've heard it's slow out there haha.Mattflat362 Thanks this.

Is it mostly Canadians that do those cross border loads?
I always assumed that when the exchange rate is in our favor, it make more sense to use Canadian labor since we can both do it just about as easily(I assume, never crossed with a load).
I love Canada's rural areas and I get along great with blue collar Canadians. Always thought I might spend summers up there when I retire -
