Ok .. it continues take a look at the last post to stay updated
Today is payday I’m supposed to receive direct deposit of 4K and I have not seen it yet.. this company shorted my settlement by a load and decided to put it towards next week.. moving forward I understand.. the problem is payday is Monday.. I did not receive any deposit.. I was told the company has been experiencing bank issues.. I don’t have time for the company to experience these type of issues.. they offered me my payment through EFS??? Should I just except the fees and interest that will be charged or should I receive my exact dollar amount.. I don’t think it’s acceptable that I am being charged weekly for trailer and other bills and I have to deal with not receiving a paycheck.. today begins a new pay period I turned in the bills today.. hint that they split my paycheck so I turned the remaining bills in today.. however every Monday I’m supposed to receive a paycheck.. and hours have pass by.. ( check time of post ) and I have not gotten paid
I have to deal with brokers turning me down because of bad reputation on company MC NUMBER
Now I’m experiencing payment problems due to bank issues..
not to mention my fuel card turned off on the road roughly 3 times ... you can only imagine my feelings knowing that it messed up my eta.. the fuel island was full the perfect day for a inactive fuel card
I don’t know what to say at this time
thank god my truck is paid off.. if it was not think about what it will be like then..
Drive safe y’all

Get your money on EFS and move on. The fact that brokers won’t work with you because of the carriers MC, and that the fuel card has been shut off should tell you everything needed.
fordconvert, Ruthless, AModelCat and 11 others Thank this. -

EFS is just not a option for me.. knowing I will be charged fees also I will need to pay taxes on the money made.. knowing that I have taken a loss will do no justice.. i have the trailer that I’m paying for parking I don’t think it’s fair for me to take such a loss.. while being charged weekly
currently I see only two options either I receive 4k or I’m keeping the trailer through a lien.. it more than 4k to be exact so it really needs to be addressed
I bought a BMW X5 from a dealer through auction and the dealer skipped town leaving some people unhappy.. I was able to recover the title for the car in roughly 90 days because of a lien being put on it.. something tells me that this company is creeping up that alley.. because I’m beginning to get that feeling when I know I’m rightslow.rider Thanks this. -
Get as much money as you can and switch companies as quickly as you can. In that order if possible. Capitalism ain't always fair. Try to get yourself to the state of mind where you can look at it as a cheap education, rather than as an expensive mistake, even if you recover none of the money.

Go find a good job because you don't have one now
91B20H8 and slow.rider Thank this. -
Run light one week and see if they pay your back money. Also EFS fees are how much? A few percent. Just take it and run. I wouldn't stay there figure out an exit strategy. Say your truck broke and let them pay your back pay. Once the money clears your account to another of your accounts, quit.
slow.rider Thanks this. -
Technically owner operators don’t have the title of job.. we have the title of business owners

At this point get what you can, cut and run. You say EFS is not an option because its not fair? Sadly this industry is not fair and everything you told me basically means your company is about to roll over and go tits up. If you dont take what you can now your small loss of a few % will turn into a total loss.
Sadly this happens in business and any good owner op will plan for a company they lease or haul for to go under. If you have leased through them rather then onto them you may be in for a world of hurt though.
